Pricing & delivery

By the cubic metre. Quoted for your operation.

The right price depends on what grade you need, how much, and where it goes. Tell us your volume and your postcode — we'll come back with a delivered quote, usually within two business days.

How pricing works

Three variables decide the unit price.

1

Volume

From 1 m³ palletised through to 200 m³+ on multi-truck loose-load schedules. Larger orders attract bulk pricing.

2

Grade

Carbon powder, 2 mm granules, or 2–20 mm mix. Each has different production cost — and different uses.

3

Delivery zone

Central Victoria local is cheapest. Interstate freight is included in the quote — usually viable from 20 m³+.

What's included

What you actually get for the m³ price.

In every quote

  • Australian-made activated biochar — Sugargum hardwood, NATA-tested 88.6% C, made in Central Victoria.
  • Delivery to your specified address (or pickup if you'd rather collect).
  • Application-rate guidance for your specific use case — turf, livestock, soil, or stormwater.
  • The lab report for the production batch you receive, on request.

Available as add-ons

  • Pilot-trial design — single green, single paddock, single feedlot pen — to validate before scaling.
  • On-farm production via our flame-curtain method, if you have woody-waste streams.
  • Carbon-farming scoping — assessing ACCU eligibility under the Emissions Reduction Fund (SCIG) .
  • Composting integration — biochar-amended compost windrows for manure-heavy operations.

Frequently asked questions

Why isn't a price table published on this page?

Because the right price depends on three things — your volume, your grade (powder, 2 mm, or 2–20 mm mix), and your delivery zone. A 1 m³ palletised order to a hobby farm is a different unit price from a 200 m³ loose-load delivery to a feedlot. We'd rather give you the correct number on the first quote than publish a "from" price that doesn't apply to your situation.

What are typical order sizes?

Hobby / small farm: 1–5 m³ palletised. Commercial farm / feedlot trial: 10–50 m³ loose-loaded. Golf course / council pilot: 5–20 m³. Large reclamation / stormwater project: 100 m³+ — usually quoted with delivery scheduled across multiple trucks.

Where do you deliver to?

Central Victoria is our home base — local delivery is the most cost-effective. We deliver across Victoria, NSW, SA and southern Queensland on a per-load basis; longer hauls are usually viable for orders 20 m³+. For interstate orders we'll quote a delivered price including freight.

Can you produce biochar on my farm instead of shipping it?

Yes — on-farm production using our flame-curtain method is often the most cost-effective option if you have woody-waste streams (storm debris, shelterbelt residues, orchard prunings). We can run the kiln on your property or train your team. Talk to us about an on-farm production day.

Do you offer bulk discounts?

Yes — volume pricing for orders 50 m³+. We can also discuss multi-load schedules across a season if you're running a phased trial or amendment program.

What's the lead time?

Standard grades are typically held in inventory — most palletised orders ship within 5–7 business days. Larger loose-load deliveries are usually 2–3 weeks from order confirmation. Custom particle sizes or large reclamation orders may take longer.
